DIN 5008 Templates

DIN 5008 is the standard that defines how a German business letter is built: the exact position of the address field, the information block with date and reference marks, the margins, the fold marks for the window envelope. That sounds pedantic but is practical: a standard-compliant letter looks professional, fits cleanly into the envelope and is expected by authorities and companies. The DIN 5008 templates build exactly this structure for you, without measuring millimetres.

You choose from 8 templates covering the most common letter types: business letter in Form A and Form B (which differ in the height of the address field), personal letter, short notice, cover letter, payment reminder, invitation and cancellation. Each template is tailored to its purpose and already brings the right structure.
