What Virtual Desktops does
Anyone juggling different tasks all day knows the problem: everything piles up on a single desktop, and the tax return overlaps the holiday notes, which in turn hide the invoicing tool. Virtual Desktops solve this by giving you several separate work surfaces to jump between.
Each work surface remembers its own arrangement. If you open your tax and accounting tools on the Finance desktop, they stay exactly where they are when you switch to the Personal desktop and build something entirely different there. Come back and Finance is unchanged. No constant reopening, no searching.
You can create several work surfaces and give them meaningful names, so you know at a glance what belongs where. Do not need one any more? Remove it again. That way your digital desktop stays as tidy or as wild as you want it - but always separated by topic.
The idea of separation helps not just the overview but also the mind. One surface per context means that switching is a conscious change rather than sinking into a single visual mess. Focus comes from order too.
Virtual Desktops work directly with your workspace and store their state locally, so your layout is preserved. As a Plus tool it is aimed at everyone who uses Werkzeu.ge intensively and wants to keep several areas of life under control at once.

Who needs this
Frequently asked questions
Why would I need several virtual desktops?
To keep different tasks apart. Instead of stacking taxes, notes and personal things on one crowded surface, each area gets its own desktop with its own layout. That creates overview and focus.
Is the layout preserved when I switch?
Yes. Each work surface remembers which tools are open and where they sit. Switch away and come back, and you find everything unchanged.
Can I rename the desktops?
Yes. You can give each work surface its own name, for example Finance, Personal or Project, so you know at a glance what belongs where.
Are my desktops saved?
Your layout is stored locally in your browser, so it is available again on your next visit.
