Some people need silence to work, but many do not. A little rain, a quiet cafe in the background, the crackle of a fireplace - sounds like these fill the gaps that distraction otherwise creeps into. The Soundscape Mixer hands you the faders instead of pinning you to a fixed video or playlist.

The trick: none of it is a recording that audibly restarts every 30 seconds. All channels are synthesized live through your browser's Web Audio API, from noise buffers and oscillators. That means no audible loop, no file to load, and sound that never repeats exactly.

You get more than a dozen sound channels, roughly sorted into nature, urban and ambient. Nature brings rain, thunder, wind, fire, birds, waves, creek and crickets. Urban delivers cafe murmur, keyboard typing, mechanical keys, train and traffic. Ambient rounds it off with white, brown and pink noise, a singing bowl and a ticking clock.

Every channel has its own volume slider, plus a master fader for the overall level. So you do not just switch things on or off, you dose them: lots of rain, a hint of thunder, a cafe very faintly. Exactly the balance that works for you.

If you do not feel like fine-tuning, reach for the ready-made presets like Cafe, Rainy Day, Forest or Ocean - one click and the mix is set. You can save your own favourite mixes and recall them any time. A timer switches the sound off after a set duration, handy for falling asleep or for a bounded focus block.
