What PDF Split does

PDFs often arrive as one big lump: the complete bank statement over twelve months, the entire contract with all its attachments, the scanned file folder in one piece. When you only need a few pages out of it, you do not want to forward the whole thing. PDF Split turns one document into exactly the parts you actually need.

Four modes cover every case. Extract pulls single pages or ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10 into a new PDF. Ranges splits the document into several named sections, for example 1-3, 4-6, 7-10 as three separate files. Every N pages cuts the PDF into equal blocks, handy for chapters or batches. And Individual pages turns each page into its own file.

Because splitting quickly produces many files, the tool packs them into a ZIP archive when needed so you can download everything with one click. No clicking through twenty separate downloads, no chaos in your downloads folder.

The whole process runs entirely in your browser with pdf-lib. Your file is not uploaded and not processed on a server. That is the key point with sensitive paperwork: a bank statement you pull a single transaction out of, or a contract where only one attachment should go on, stays completely on your device.

No account, no watermark, no page limit. You open the tool, pick your file, type in the pages you need and download the result. It also works offline once the page has loaded.

Frequently asked questions

Is my file uploaded?

No. Splitting runs entirely in your browser with pdf-lib. Your PDF is neither uploaded nor stored on a server and never leaves your device.

How do I enter page ranges?

You write single pages and ranges with a hyphen, separated by commas, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10. For separate output files you separate multiple ranges with a semicolon, for example 1-3; 4-6; 7-10.

Can I split a PDF into single pages?

Yes. The Individual pages mode turns each page into its own file. Because that creates many files, you get them bundled as a ZIP archive to download.

Do I get all parts in one file?

When splitting produces several PDFs, the tool packs them into a ZIP archive so you can download them with one click instead of one by one.

Is there a page limit?

No. There is no fixed limit on the number of pages. The only practical limit is your device's memory with very large documents.

Is the tool free?

Yes, completely free and no signup. No watermark, no account. Open it and start immediately.
