Vacancy Analyzer

Anyone planning when the team is fully staffed and when a gap looms needs the bird eye view across the whole year. That is exactly what the Vacancy Analyzer delivers: a grid over every day of the year where each absence is colour-coded. A single glance is enough to spot the thinly staffed weeks.

Entering is done by clicking. Each cell cycles through the states none, vacation, sick, special leave and home office, each with its own colour and symbol. So you tell planned vacation from a spontaneous sick note at a glance, no legend in your head.

Public holidays are no guessing game. The analyzer knows the statutory holidays of all 16 German states and shows them automatically once you pick your state. Corpus Christi in Bavaria, Reformation Day in the east, the Day of Repentance in Saxony - every special case sits in the right spot.

Remaining leave is tallied along the way. You store the annual leave, and the tool subtracts the entered vacation days, so you always see how many are left. Sick, special leave and home office are counted separately to keep the numbers clean.

Your entries stay local. The plan is stored in your browser so it is back next time you open it, without anything going to a server. When you want to reuse the data, you export the year as CSV - for a spreadsheet, the archive, or handover to HR.

The Vacancy Analyzer is deliberately meant as a fast planning tool, not a full request-and-approval system.
