Form Builder

Build forms and surveys without a line of code: the form builder lets you assemble fields by drag and drop - text, email, numbers, date, select, checkboxes and more. With conditional logic, a preview, a response dashboard and CSV export. From a signup to a questionnaire, done in minutes.

What Form Builder does

Whether a signup for the club festival, a customer survey, a contact form or an internal questionnaire: a form is needed quickly and usually built laboriously. The form builder turns that around. You drag the fields you need from a palette into your form, label them and are done - no programming, no builder sprawl, no need to learn a tool.

The field types cover everything common: single-line text field, multi-line text area, email field with validation, phone, number field, date field, single and multiple choice, checkbox and radio buttons. For structure there are headings and dividers, so even longer forms stay clear. Each field can be marked as required.

The real trick is conditional logic. Fields can be shown and hidden depending on previous answers: whoever ticks Yes on a question sees the follow-up questions, everyone else does not. So rigid forms become intelligent flows that do not bore anyone with irrelevant fields.

Before you share the form, you check it in the preview exactly as it will look later. When responses come in, the form builder collects them in the response dashboard - clearly laid out, so you can grasp results at a glance. For further processing you export all responses as CSV, which opens in any spreadsheet.

You can run several forms in parallel, duplicate them to build variants and delete ones you no longer need. The form builder therefore fits well with the rest of Werkzeu.ge: the collected data you can manage further in the Karteikasten or pull as CSV into the Tabellenkalkulation, where you sort, filter and analyse it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need programming skills?

No. The form builder works entirely by drag and drop. You drag fields into your form, label them and set the logic via simple options - without a line of code.

What is conditional logic?

With conditional logic the display of a field depends on a previous answer. Example: only someone who states they own a vehicle sees the question about the licence plate. That keeps the form short and relevant.

How do I get to the responses?

The form builder collects all incoming responses in the response dashboard. From there you export them as CSV and open them in a spreadsheet to sort, filter and analyse them.

Which field types are there?

Single-line text, multi-line text area, email, phone, number, date, single and multiple choice, checkbox and radio buttons. For structure you can insert headings and dividers and make any field required.

Can I run several forms at once?

Yes. You can create any number of forms, duplicate them to test variants and delete ones you no longer need. Each has its own response dashboard.
