Classic order boards have a built-in problem: the moment your listing goes live, everyone knows who you are. Competitors read what you are missing. Providers google your company and price to your postcode instead of the work. And private individuals looking for help scatter their name and phone number across half the internet. The Werktafel flips that around: the job first, the names later.

Anonymity here is not a checkbox in the settings - it is the architecture. Your order appears without a name, without a company, without an exact address, just a coarse region like "04xxx Leipzig". Before your text is published, the Werktafel automatically strips email addresses, phone numbers, IBANs and links from the description, so nobody can fish your identity out of the text by accident. You see exactly what was removed before it goes live.

The flow is deliberately simple. You describe what needs doing, pick a category, a region or remote, and optionally a budget range and a deadline. Then the offers come in - and you compare them the way it always should have worked: by price, timeline and tone, not by company name or a gut feeling about an area code. No provider can call you, message you or pressure you around the platform beforehand.

When an offer fits, it is handshake time. Only in that moment - and only for the two of you - are contact details revealed to each other. From then on you have a private message channel, and once the work is done, both sides confirm with a stamp each. Two stamps, order closed, cleanly documented.

For the money, one clear principle applies: you settle payment directly with each other - Werkzeu.ge holds no money, charges no listing fees and sells no contacts. The contract always forms directly between client and contractor; Werkzeu.ge is the intermediary, not a party to it. Optional payment protection via a licensed payment provider, releasing funds only after both sides confirm completion, is in the works.

And because the Werktafel is a Werkzeug by Werkzeu.ge, it lives right on your browser desktop next to the invoicing system, the Formularamt and the rest of your toolbox. Reported content is reviewed by a moderation team under clear rules, commercial providers are labeled as such, and your data stays where it belongs: with you, on European servers, with no AI mining.
