You know the drill: you need a form, you google your way through five agency websites, land on some third-party site plastered with ads, and end up downloading a PDF nobody can vouch for. Formularamt ends that game. One catalog, one search, official forms - from Kindergeld and Wohngeld to building permits.
What sets it apart from the PDF graveyards out there is transparency. Every form in the catalog carries its origin openly: the source with a link to the issuing authority, the date we fetched it, the document version where it can be determined, and a checksum. You always see where a form comes from and how fresh it is. No anonymous uploads, no forms of unclear origin.
Fillable forms are completed right in your browser. What you type stays on your device - your entries are never sent to our servers. When you are done, you download the finished PDF and submit it the way the authority requires. If you keep an Amtsprofil, it can prefill the same-old standard fields so you do not spell out your name for the hundredth time.
And when a form does not exist? We tell you. Some processes now run exclusively through official online portals - then we link the portal. For some processes no form legally exists at all. Some sources block automated access, and some official forms genuinely have to be purchased. Each of these cases sits honestly in the catalog, with the reason. A "does not exist, and here is why" beats ten dead links.

No. Formularamt helps you find, understand and cleanly prepare official forms - it does not replace legal advice, tax advice or a notary. For legal or tax questions about your specific case, the responsible office or a qualified professional has the final word.
Why is a form missing from the catalog?
For one of four honest reasons: some processes now run exclusively through an official online portal - then we link the portal instead of a PDF. For some processes no form legally exists, for example when notarization is required. Some sources block automated access, so we may not mirror the form. And some official forms have to be purchased. Each of these cases sits in the catalog with its reason instead of silently missing.
What happens to the data I enter into a form?
Filling happens in your browser. What you type into the fields stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. You download the finished PDF yourself and decide what happens with it.
Where do the forms come from?
From official sources of the issuing authorities. Every form in the catalog shows its origin openly: the linked source, the date we fetched it, the document version and a checksum. Forms of unclear origin do not get in.
Is the form guaranteed to be current?
We cannot guarantee that - authorities change forms without calling us first. That is why every form shows its fetch date and version and always links the official source, so you can double-check there when in doubt. Formularamt is beta software: when in doubt, what the Amt says goes.
Can I send the completed form directly to the authority?
Formularamt produces the finished PDF - submission works however the specific authority requires: by mail, in person, through their online portal or in some cases by fax. Which channels an authority accepts is their call, not ours.
What if my form is not there?
Request it. The form request inside Formularamt tells us what is missing - and exactly that demand decides which collections we add to the catalog next.
