Audio Format Converter

Audio formats are a small jungle. MP3 plays everywhere, WAV is uncompressed and huge, FLAC is losslessly compressed, OGG is free and open, AAC sits inside many Apple devices. As soon as a device, a piece of software or a platform demands a particular format, you need a conversion - and the Audio Converter does it without installation and without command-line wizardry.

The operation is deliberately simple. You drag your audio file into the window or pick it from the file dialog. Then you choose the target format - MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC or AAC - and start the conversion. The processing runs server-side with FFmpeg, the standard tool for audio and video processing, so you get a clean, correct result.

Every format has its purpose. To archive an uncompressed recording space-efficiently, FLAC is ideal because it stays lossless. For maximum compatibility when sending or uploading, MP3 is the pick. For further editing in many programs, WAV is the safe choice. The converter leaves the decision to you and produces exactly what you need.

Large files are no problem: up to 100 MB per file are allowed, which covers the vast majority of songs, podcasts, voice recordings and recordings. If the file is bigger or is not audio, you get a clear message instead of a silent failure.
