What Task Planner does
Most task lists fail not for lack of features but because they know only a single view. Sometimes you just want to tick off a flat list, sometimes you want to see what is in progress and what is still open, sometimes you want to know what is due on which day. The Task Planner gives you all three views onto the same tasks: list, kanban board and calendar. You switch depending on how you are thinking, without maintaining anything twice.
In the list view you tick off, sort and keep the overview. The kanban board pulls each task through the Open, In progress and Done columns - by drag and drop, so progress becomes visible. The calendar view drops your due dates onto the days and shows where things pile up and where there is room.
Every task can be more than a line of text. Set a priority from low to high, break big tasks into subtasks you tick off individually, and attach tags to bundle related things. For anything that recurs regularly there are recurrence rules: daily, weekly or monthly, at a freely chosen interval. Once created, the task reappears on its own.
Because due dates in Germany hinge on public holidays, the holidays are built in. The calendar knows them, so you do not put a deadline on a day nothing runs anyway, and your planning matches the real working days.
You can export your tasks and dates as an ICS file and import them into calendars like Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. That way your planning does not live only in this tool but also shows up where you see your appointments anyway.
Everything runs in your browser and is stored locally, so your task list is back the next time you open it. No task is pushed to a foreign cloud unasked - your to-dos are nobody's business but yours.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between list, kanban and calendar?
They are three views onto the same tasks. The list is for ticking off and sorting, the kanban board shows progress across the Open, In progress and Done columns, and the calendar drops due dates onto the days. You switch freely without maintaining anything twice.
Can I create recurring tasks?
Yes. You can set a recurrence rule - daily, weekly or monthly - at a freely chosen interval. The task then reappears on its own without you creating it again.
Can I import my tasks into Google Calendar?
Yes. Export your tasks as an ICS file and import them into Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar or any other calendar that supports ICS.
Does the calendar account for holidays?
Yes. The calendar knows the German public holidays, so you do not put a due date on a day nothing runs anyway, and your planning matches the real working days.
Where are my tasks stored?
Locally in your browser. Your task list is back the next time you open it, and no task is pushed to a foreign cloud unasked.
