What Objection Builder does
Many people accept faulty decisions because the effort seems too great or they simply do not know what an objection has to look like. Yet the right to object is a cornerstone of German administrative procedure - and in a great many cases it pays off. The Objection Builder lowers the barrier to a minimum: no blank page, no wording stress, no legal gibberish.
At its heart are 32 ready-made templates across ten areas of life. Tax (tax assessment, estimated assessment, late-filing surcharge, advance payment), social benefits (housing benefit, student aid, child benefit, parental allowance, basic security, unemployment sanctions), insurance (occupational disability, liability, motor), fines (fine, warning fine, parking violation), employment (warning, dismissal, work reference), housing (service charges, rent increase, personal-use eviction), invoices and reminders, vehicle and driving licence, all the way to building permits and trade licences. For almost every hassle there is a matching building block.
The step-by-step mode guides you through five stages: choose a template, your sender details, the recipient, the details of your case and finally the preview. If you are in a hurry, you can show all fields at once. Your sender data is stored locally so you do not have to retype it next time - and if you maintain an identity profile, the builder can fill the fields from it on request.
Every template brings the matching legal basis and deadline notes. So you know not only what you are writing but also what you are invoking and by when the objection has to go out. That is decisive, because an objection after the deadline is usually worthless. There are also tips for the specific notice type and a note about sending by registered mail with return receipt, so you can prove delivery in a dispute.
The result is a clean, formal letter you export straight as a PDF, copy to the clipboard or print. The tone is firm but polite - exactly how an objection should sound so it is taken seriously without escalating unnecessarily.
A note we take seriously: the Objection Builder provides templates, not legal advice. It does not replace a lawyer reviewing your specific case. For high stakes, complicated facts or when a lot is on the line, it pays to see a lawyer, a consumer advice centre, a tenants association or the relevant advice office. Always review the generated text before you send it.

How it works

Who needs this
Frequently asked questions
Is the objection legally effective?
The generated letter is a carefully built template with a matching legal basis. Whether your objection ultimately succeeds depends on the specific case. The builder is not legal advice - when a lot is at stake, review the text with a lawyer or advice centre.
What deadline do I have for an objection?
For many notices it is one month from notification, for fines often just two weeks from delivery. The exact deadline is in the appeal instructions of your notice. Each template points out the typical deadline, and the Deadline Pocket Calculator computes the exact end.
Is my data stored?
Your sender data is stored locally in your browser so you do not have to enter it every time. The PDF generation runs client-side. Your details stay on your device.
Objection or appeal - what is the difference?
Colloquially people often mean the same, legally they differ. Against tax notices you file an Einspruch (objection under the tax code), against many other administrative acts a Widerspruch. The builder automatically uses the correct term for the template.
How should I send the objection?
Best by registered mail with return receipt. That way, in a dispute you can prove that and when your objection arrived. The builder explicitly points this out. Keep the proof of posting safe.
Can I create several objections?
Yes, as many as you need. Just start a new objection, pick a different template, and your saved sender data is already there. Ideal when several notices land at once.
