Что умеет Календарь истечения пароля
Rotating passwords regularly is easy to decide and quick to forget. The resolution "I will do that next month" typically survives until the month after next - and then three years. Password-Expiry-ICS turns the resolution into a calendar entry, and calendar entries beat resolutions almost every time.
Per entry you record the service, optionally the username, the date of the last change and the rotation interval. Important and deliberately built this way: you never enter the password itself. The tool manages dates, not secrets - for the passwords themselves there is the Passwort-Tresor.
The overview shows you what is due on a dashboard, a timeline or sorted by category: which passwords are coming up, which are long overdue and where everything is fine. Categories like banking, email or work keep things tidy, and each category comes with check tips: 2FA on, password used only once, no hit in a breach report. The tool deliberately sets no fixed change interval.
The heart of it is the ICS export: your entries become a standard calendar file right in the browser, with events on the expiry date, reminder alarms in advance (7 days, 1 day and same-day by default, freely configurable) and optionally recurring events in your rotation rhythm. Import the file into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook or any other calendar that understands ICS - which is practically all of them.
Your planning data stays stored locally in your browser, and the ICS file is generated entirely client-side. No account with a reminder service, no list of your services on someone else's servers - just a calendar file that belongs to you.

Частые вопросы
Do I have to enter my passwords here?
No, and you are not supposed to. The tool manages only services, dates and intervals. The passwords themselves belong in a password manager like the Passwort-Tresor - encrypted there, only the rotation date here.
Which calendars does the ICS file work with?
With practically all of them: Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, Thunderbird and any other calendar that imports the standard ICS format. The file contains events, reminder alarms and optionally recurring events.
How often should I rotate passwords anyway?
Not by calendar. The BSI (IT-Grundschutz ORP.4) and NIST (SP 800-63B) advise changing a password on suspicion, for example after a breach, rather than at fixed intervals; forced changes often lead to weaker patterns. So the tool sets no default interval. You pick how often you check whether 2FA is on, whether a password is reused and whether an account shows up in a breach report.
Where are my entries stored?
Locally in your browser. The ICS file is also generated entirely client-side. There is no list of your services on a reminder server - just the calendar file you export yourself.
What if I miss a date?
Then the dashboard shows the entry as overdue, including the days since it was due. Change the password, update the date, export a fresh ICS - and the rhythm continues.
