Every website wants your email address, and every one is a possible leak. With one alias per service you can tell from the spam who passed your address on, and switch off just that alias.

Forwarding is done by your own provider, not by Werkzeu.ge. Gmail supports plus addresses out of the box, Apple creates random addresses with iCloud+, Proton Pass and SimpleLogin are dedicated alias services, and with your own domain you set up forwards or a catch-all address at your host.

The tool takes care of the tedious part: it turns the service name into a clean alias name without umlauts, builds the finished address for Gmail and your own domain, and shows you the steps to set up the alias for each provider.

Your list remembers which address you use for what, with a category and a note whether you switched it off. It lives in this browser, belongs to your account and is deleted when you sign out. Export it as CSV or JSON or keep it in the Aktenschrank.

To be honest: plus addresses do not hide your real address, because anyone can drop the part after the plus. For real separation, Apple or an alias service is the better choice. And for bank, authorities and accounts you must never lose, use an address you will keep for good.
