A stamp says at a glance what the deal is. Is this just a draft or the signed original? Is the document cleared to go out or internal only? When did it arrive? That is exactly what stamps are for - except in daily life you rarely have a real rubber stamp and ink pad to hand. PDF Stamp brings the ink pad into the browser and places text, images, page numbers or a date neatly positioned over any page you choose.

Four stamp types cover everything. The text stamp writes a word or sentence across the page - classic watermark style with adjustable opacity and rotation. The image stamp overlays a logo, a scanned signature or a seal. Page numbering adds sequential numbers as digits, Roman numerals, with dashes, or as a label like "Page 3 of 12". The date stamp prints the current or a chosen date in German or international format.

The German business presets do the thinking for you. ENTWURF (draft), MUSTER (sample), KOPIE (copy), ORIGINAL, VERTRAULICH (confidential), STRENG VERTRAULICH (strictly confidential), INTERN (internal), EINGEGANGEN (received), GENEHMIGT (approved), ABGELEHNT (rejected), GEPRÜFT (reviewed), UNGÜLTIG (void), ARCHIVIERT (archived), NICHT KOPIEREN (do not copy), EILT (urgent) - each preset ships with sensible defaults for colour, size, rotation and position that you can then tweak freely.

Position is a grid of nine cells: top left through bottom right, plus the centre for the classic diagonal watermark. Add to that font family (Helvetica, Courier or Times), font size, a colour picker, opacity from translucent to solid, a rotation angle and an optional border. A live preview shows you exactly how the page will look before you export.

For recurring work there is batch processing. Load several PDFs at once, configure the stamp once and run it across the whole stack. Ideal when you need to mark a whole folder as COPY, add the received date to a pile of files, or flag a quote as DRAFT before it goes final.

Files up to 5 MB are stamped right in your browser and stay on your device. Larger files go briefly to our server and are not stored there. Download the result directly or archive it in your Aktenschrank so the stamped version lands where it belongs.
